Today, we started some "real world" scenario problems involving comparison shopping. The packet today had 4 problems that the students worked on. Thursday, the students will compare their answers in groups and then present one of the problems to the class. Friday, the class will get sales flyers from Kroger and Publix. They will be given a shopping list to find the prices of the items and the total price of the groceries.
We will use these activities as a project grade in lieu of a quiz or test on this unit.
